Palliative Medicine Reports is seeking articles for a Special Collection focused on palliative and supportive care for underserved populations (such as rural, LGBTQ+), low and middle income countries or other low resource contexts, or addressing cross-cultural issues, health disparities, or issues related to social determinants of health.
Studies are encouraged from diverse settings where primary or specialty palliative care is implemented, including home or community settings, clinics, inpatient care, and long-term care settings.
Submissions should be original research or quality improvement articles, brief reports, reviews, or case reports. Please see journal submission guidance, including how to describe the local palliative care context.
Studies should be complete and include data related to patient, family care partner, clinical, health system, or other measurable outcomes.
Proposals should be submitted by September 1, 2025. Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis and published upon acceptance as part of the Special Collection. Early submissions on or before August 1, 2025, will be considered for a reduced Article Processing Charge as part of an “Editor’s Choice” designation.
